Already ahead of you  . In PowerHome Explorer under Setup|Preferences you can uncheck "Confirm Shutdown". This will remove the screen asking you if you're sure and will just automatically close PowerHome.
Another option that may be of interest is the "Confirm Shutdown default NO". If you uncheck this box, PowerHome will still ask you if you want to Confirm Shutdown (assuming the confirm shutdown is checked) but the default after the 5 second timeout will be Yes and PowerHome will shutdown.

Hi Dave - this is sort of in the right direction. To be honest, I'm loath to uncheck "Confirm Shutdown", because i sometimes click [X] by accident when I'm done with PH (because for a lot of TSR's [X] just minimizes them to the systray, you actually have to right click on their systray icon to exit).
Anyway, I tried unchecking "Confirm Shutdown default NO", and that's in the right direction. Still, I don't know what happens for other people, but what happens for me, when I try a conventional restart, is that all Apps and TSRs (including PH and SDM) exit cleanly, but after that the PC just sits there and doesn't actually reboot.
Maybe what you could put on the list would be to make the [X] just push PH back to the systray, (with a right-click-systray-menu option to actually EXIT), then if I uncheck Confirm Shutdown, it should be clean.
This isn't really a priority for me though, as I'm used to the workaround I supplied in the top of the thread.

Ok - so now I have a PLM, and I have PH set to close after 5 sec if there's no confirm.
Running WIN XP Home SP3
If I try a normal reboot, Powerhome closes, along with most of my TSRs, but the reboot doesn't happen. Seems like it has to happen very quickly or not at all.
Anyone else out there with PLM and XP? How do you provide for unattended reboot?

I do nothing special with PH due to using a PLM.

I guess this is a somewhat old thread, but I have what may be a similar problem to you Jeff. I am running powerhome as a service. If I select reboot, the system does nothing. I have to kill the phservice using the task manager to get it to reboot. If my issue is addressed in another thread, I apologize for reviving an old thread without good reason.
