Dave,
I'm getting this error now:
Can you tell me what this module (pbdwe170.dll) is doing so to help me find what's
happening?
I tried re-installing and I'm still getting this error.
The system crashes after about 10 minutes of re-starting.
It doesn't crash with the default (nothing in it) database.
Is my database too big now? Too many global vars?
Thanks,
EDIT/Update:
I installed PH ( 2.2B4 ) on an unused win10 laptop. I copied my database to it.
This system also crashes exactly the same way.
Edit/Update:
When I find a problem/bug, I like to find the actual problem and then fix it.
I have gone as far as I could on this problem. I never found the actual problem.
I had no choice but to restore a backup to solve this. Using a backup did in fact
restore my working system, but I never found the actual problem.
Good idea to ALWAYS have, at least one, backup!!!!
I can only assume that something in the database became corrupted. The crashing
seems to have always followed the database. I did try to use the upgrade utility
to "clean" the database, but that didn't work either. While I don't like mysteries,
I'm happy to have the system back up and fully working.
